Woof! I’m Bo. I’m a cuddly, 4-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix, available for adoption through Forgotten Dogs Rescue.
I love to play. Tug? Yes. Fetch. Let’s do it!
I’m an expert cuddler. My new family should prepare for tons of snuggles and kisses.
I’ve worked with a professional trainer before so I know basic cues such as sit, down, spin and stay. Easy peasy.
I can also be your perfect companion for hikes and swimming. Roadtrips? Sure thing!
I have a few dog friends, but I’m fairly selective on who to become friends with. I tend to get nervous when meeting new dogs for the first time, so don’t be too hard on me. I’m working on it!
The type of home I’m looking for:
It’s simple for me. I just want to find a family where I fit in just right. It can be a family who’s willing to give me lots of love and attention, and also help me learn to stay calm around new people and other dogs.
Don’t forget playtime! I love playing tug and fetch so a yard is a must for me.
#WhynotMEpets is a statewide campaign that gives cats and dogs needing more care and attention a greater chance of finding a home as quickly as possible. Its mission focuses on animals that have been homeless for two months or longer; are elderly; have behavior or medical needs; aren’t thriving in the shelter environment; or make up a large percentage of the shelter population, such as bully breeds. These are the animals asking “Why not me?” To learn more, visit pawsitivealliance.org/whynotmepets.
